    Of Truth by Francis Bacon As indicated by the name this essay is all about truth... The negative side of lies is highlighted. although at one point, Bacon describes a lie as an alloy in metal to make it work better but this point in itself disapproves of telling lies by declaring that although it helps the metal to work better, still it lessens the value of the metal. Now let's start the explanation properly.  People do not like truth not because it is difficult to find it out or it takes labour but because it takes away the freedom of mind.
